Overview
A five day training program covering, introductory concepts, installation, project setup, package management, service management and continuous deployment.
Learn To
- Understand the core concepts that drive and underly the ControlTier system
- Use the GUI and command line interfaces
- Install and configure a multi-node ControlTier infrastructure
- Execute commands via the CTL command dispatcher
- Create and import packages into the ControlTier server
- Define and manage a long running application service
- Deploy packages to application services
- Define and integrate scripts to manage startup and shutdown of a service
- Manage logically grouped sets of Services centrally using a Site
- Use ProjectBuilder to manage the ControlTier model and repository artifacts
- Integrate ControlTier to your SCM via ProjectBuilder and create project builds

Prerequisites
Required Prerequisites
This training course contains a number of laboratory exercises that have the same system requirements as the ControlTier demonstration.
Schedule
The training program is broken down into five days, where each day is broken into three sessions: morning, lunch and afternoon. We realize that the attendees are key personnel and often need some flexibility to handle operational activities. We can tailor the schedule to fit the needs of your team.
